Amy Crissman Head, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Owner and Optometrist
Since 1997, Dr. Crissman Head has served as an optometrist for the communities of Oakland County, Michigan. She worked in a fast-paced commercial environment in Southfield, as Director of Optometry at an ophthalmology practice located in Farmington Hills, and, for the past 20 years, she was a partner in a thriving private optometry practice in Novi, Michigan. In 2020, Dr. Crissman Head chose to open her own eyecare practice in Beverly Hills, Michigan. The Hills Eyecare and Optical is committed to providing the highest quality of adult and pediatric eyecare in the Detroit area.

Dr. Crissman Head received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Michigan State University and her Doctor of Optometry from Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University.
In addition to holding her Michigan Optometric License​, she is Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry, She is a member of several associations, including the Metropolitan Detroit Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry and the Michigan Optometric Association.

She also believes firmly in community involvement and has enjoyed fulfilling relationships over many years with St. Regis Catholic School and Church as well as Birmingham Public Schools.
Mindy Clipfell, ABOC
Optician
Mindy started in the optical field as a way to pay for a social work degree, but loved it so much, she made a career in the optical field instead. She received her ABO certificate in 1997 and also has her Practical Dispensing Optician (PDO) designation. In addition to her time working with patients directly, she is also the vice president of the Opticians Association of Michigan. The best part about her work as an optician is the personal interaction and the relationships that she builds with her patients.
Cheryl Rusin, ABOC
Paraoptometric Assistant & Optician
Cheryl is both a certified optician and a certified paraoptometric assistant, allowing her to offer guidance through every stage of the patient exam. Her favorite part of being an optician is helping patients choose their new glasses. Patients are excited for the new look and to see better. When not at the office, Cheryl works as a licensed realtor in Metro Detroit.
Jen Johnson
ParaoptometricAssistant & Optician
Jen is a seasoned paraoptometric assistant and optician. She has wealth of knowledge from her 20 years of experience in the eye care industry.
Tia Alexander
Optometric Assistant
Tia is studying nursing at Oakland University. Tia enjoys interacting with patients and taking care of their eye care needs and is confident the knowledge gains working in optometry will assist in her future healthcare career. Prior to joining the team, she worked as a preschool teacher assistant, and has a special relationship when caring for our pediatric patients.
Nina Allen
Optometric Assistant
Nina has held sales and customer service positions in several industries but has a passion for eyes. With an interest in patient care and a keen eye for detail, Nina brings a professional and empathetic approach to our team. She is skilled in managing both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for our patients.
Angela Proulx
Paraoptometric Assistant
Angela attended Oakland Community College and has extensive knowledge in the optometry and ophthalmology fields. She is a certified paraoptometric assistant and has more than two decades of knowledge in the medical field. Angela loves to continuously learn about eye health and the new ways of monitoring and treating eye conditions.
Michelle Woznicki

Administrator
Michelle spent much of her career in the hospitality industry, which is why she is such an asset to our team as the office administrator. She has a passion for helping patients find solutions to their vision needs. Michelle is always striving for the highest standards in delivering excellent patient care. Michelle is originally from Stafford, England.
